Built on experience
Malaysia’s refining pioneer
Commissioned in 1983, Kertih Refinery was PETRONAS’ first refinery—establishing a foundation for Malaysia’s integrated downstream industry.
Today, the facility has a current capacity of 124,500 barrels per day and processes Malaysian light sweet crude. Its crude and condensate processing capabilities connect directly into Kertih’s wider petroleum and petrochemical value chain.
