Commissioned in 1983, Kertih Refinery was the first PETRONAS refinery. Current public disclosures state a refining capacity of 124,500 barrels per day of Malaysian light sweet crude.
The facility includes crude refining and condensate-splitting capability. Naphtha from the refinery serves as feedstock for the adjacent aromatics complex, helping connect refining with the wider Kertih petrochemical ecosystem.
Capacity figures describe installed current capability and do not represent guaranteed throughput, product availability or an offer for sale.
